This LoRA aims to capture the style of early Ken Sugimori character concept art before his style was modernized with the Pokémon series’ popularity.
If you are familiar with old Pokémon trainer cards, box art, and promotional and concept art before and during the release of the original Red, Green, and Blue games, this is that style.

Models were trained on Anythingv3 and tested on several anime checkpoint models. Examples were made with AbyssOrangeMixV2.
I have included 3 versions as they are all really good and have different strengths and weaknesses. For general use however, I recommend the latest version as it is the most flexible and coherent.
The trigger phrase is sugimori ken 1990s though in most cases, the models function fine even without the trigger phrase. Recommended weight is 0.8 to 1 with CLIP skip 2.
To use this LoRA with Automatic1111’s Web UI, ensure that you are up to date and then just place the downloaded file(s) in the webui/models/lora directory.
